Hello and welcome

Hi, My name is Marru and this blog is all about my knitting aspirations. I made an invetory in my yarn stash week ago and I have modest 13 kilos of yarn and 1.5 kilos WIP. I will put here a picture of the pile before sorting it all out as soon as I can manage to download the picture from my phone. I have some wool in the pile I am quite happy to get rid of. So I will put them for sale in Facebook (Finnish knitting yarn selling and buying group). Then the aim is to get through the remaining piles to actually get the projects finised before starting more adventurous designs. At the moment I am in the middle of knitting Christmas presents. I have one and a half scarfs done and one and a half sock done. More scarfs, mittens and socks yet to do. Yet again photos to come. I have asked Santa to bring me couple of knitting books, fingers crossed that he is able to get those for me. One is about one piece knitting (I am hopeless when it comes to finishing off) and the other one is about entrelac knitting. A technique I have wanted to give a go for a long time. Better get on with the Christmas present scarfs so that I can take some pictures to put up here. I am also in Ravelry with the name Marruknits, I will be adding my stash there bit by bit.
